  • Support responses to regulatory inquiries, examinations, audits, and information requests
  • Assist with the enhancement of compliance controls, surveillance tools, exception reporting, and related analytical processes
  • Draft, maintain, and update compliance policies, procedures, and internal guidance documents
  • Participate in new product and new activity reviews to assess regulatory and reputational risks
  • Support internal reviews, investigations, and ad hoc compliance projects as needed
  • Promote a strong culture of compliance, integrity, and ethical conduct across the business

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant graduate degree or JD is a plus
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in energy compliance, trade surveillance, regulatory reporting, market regulation, risk, legal, or a related control function
  • Experience in US power markets required
  • Understanding of physical and financial power trading
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks, including FERC, CFTC, exchange rules, and ISO/RTO market structures; exposure to NERC requirements is a plus
  • Understanding of market fundamentals, trading structures, and pricing relationships in U.S. power and gas markets
  • Experience supporting monitoring, surveillance, regulatory filings, or responses to regulatory inquiries preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
