Job Description
Construction & Projects Lawyer — BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem
Join our award-winning construction and projects practice in Dubai. We advise on mega-projects across the UAE, including developments in Dubai Marina, Business Bay, Saadiyat Island, and Yas Island. You will draft and negotiate EPC contracts, handle project disputes, and advise on FIDIC-based agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate EPC, design-build, and construction management contracts based on FIDIC conditions
- Advise on procurement strategies for major infrastructure projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
- Handle construction dispute resolution through mediation, adjudication, and arbitration
- Review and negotiate subcontract packages, supply agreements, and professional appointment documents
- Advise on UAE building regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities compliance

Requirements
- 4-6 years PQE in construction law, ideally with UAE or Middle East experience
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts (Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book)
- Experience with construction arbitration under DIAC or ICC rules
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and building codes
- Common law or civil law qualification accepted
- Excellent English drafting skills; Arabic is beneficial
