Controllership Senior Specialist (Cash Management)

Responsibilities

• Professional to operate the Back Office activities, focus on the local operation of a “Compañía de Financiamiento” monitored by “Superintendecia financiera de Colombia”
• Compliance and settlement of market transactions through the Banco de la República's SEBRA (CUD and DCV) and other commercial bank portals.
• Compliance with each financial operation, those instructions come from the treasury team.
• Banks funding to keep operating without risks / CUD + commercial banks + manage bank accounts.
• Create controls over bank activities
• Upload and analyze short-term cash flow, ensuring it is updated daily. 
• Manage SAP movements regarding bank movements, conciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of industrial engineer, business administrator, economist, accounting or related  degrees. At least 8 years of experience (leading  the back office or financial operations) in banks,  regulated entities or fintechs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English to keep connected the teams of treasury, back office and others in different geos. (Must)
• Manage financial operations as: interbank loans, overnight operations, simultaneous, management of securities, coupons and maturities, using financial applications and core banking.
• Lead teams to operate and complete the operations mentioned above
• Knowledge of treasury processes:  bank transfers, reconciliations, rate validation, interest calculations, and balance monitoring.
• Experience in  tools of the local market as: Sebra, DCV, Deceval , ACH y Cenit (must).
• Experience in foreign operations and Colombian exchange rate regime, manage capitalizations, loans, or any operation in FX.
• Regulatory Reports review or preparation for the Financial Superintendency (nice to have)
• Proven experience in ERP SAP. (nice to have)

Location & Work Model

• Hybrid 2-3 times/week: Our hybrid work model brings us to the office at least twice a week, on strategic days designed to maximize team connection and collaboration.
