Job Description
Deacons is hiring a Conveyancing Solicitor for its real estate practice in Central. You will handle residential and commercial property transactions in one of the world's most expensive real estate markets, advising on acquisitions, sales, mortgage transactions, and stamp duty matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties in Hong Kong
- Advise on stamp duty (Ad Valorem Stamp Duty and Buyer's Stamp Duty) and exemptions
- Review title deeds and handle land searches at the Land Registry
- Advise on Government lease conditions, redevelopment projects, and compulsory sale applications under the Land (Compulsory Sale for Redevelopment) Ordinance
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor admitted in Hong Kong
- 1-3 years PQE in conveyancing or real estate transactions
- Fluent Cantonese essential for client interaction
