About the Role
Zepos & Yannopoulos is recruiting a Corporate Law Associate for our M&A and Capital Markets practice in Athens. You will work on high-profile mergers, acquisitions, privatizations, and capital markets transactions in one of Greece's most prestigious law firms. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in complex cross-border transactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence for M&A transactions and draft share purchase agreements
- Advise on corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and privatization tenders
- Prepare prospectuses and regulatory filings for capital markets transactions
- Research Greek corporate law (Law 4548/2018 on societes anonymes) and EU regulatory frameworks
- Liaise with international counsel on cross-border deals
Requirements
- Law degree from a recognized Greek or EU university
- Member of the Dikigoritikos Syllogos Athinon (Athens Bar Association)
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate/M&A law
- Excellent knowledge of Greek corporate legislation and EU directives
- Fluent in English; additional EU language a plus
