Job Description

Šavorić & Partners is seeking a Data Protection & GDPR Specialist to advise Croatian and international clients on privacy compliance, data breach response, cross-border data transfers, and AZOP regulatory proceedings. The role bridges legal and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Conduct data protection impact assessments for clients across industries. Draft and review privacy policies, data processing agreements, and BCRs. Advise on cross-border data transfer mechanisms including SCCs and adequacy decisions. Represent clients in AZOP (Croatian DPA) proceedings and inspections. Train client teams on GDPR compliance and data handling best practices.

Requirements

Croatian law degree. 2-4 years of experience in data protection or privacy law. CIPP/E certification preferred. Thorough knowledge of GDPR, Croatian Act on Implementation of GDPR, and ePrivacy Regulation. Strong English skills. Experience conducting DPIAs and managing data breach notifications.
