Job Description

The IEBC seeks a legal officer to support the commission's mandate in election management, boundary delimitation, and political party regulation. Kenya's election cycle presents unique legal challenges requiring expertise in constitutional and electoral law.

Responsibilities

Advise on election petition procedures and compliance. Handle boundary delimitation legal challenges. Draft election regulations and guidelines. Represent the Commission in court proceedings.

Requirements

LLB degree. Advocate of the High Court. 4+ years in electoral law, constitutional law, or public law. Knowledge of the Elections Act 2011 and Political Parties Act.
