Job Description
Advise on Kenya's growing energy sector including geothermal power, wind farms, solar projects, and oil and gas exploration. Handle regulatory approvals with EPRA, EIA compliance, and power purchase agreements.
Responsibilities
Draft power purchase agreements and concession contracts. Advise on EPRA licensing and regulatory compliance. Handle EIA processes for energy projects. Support oil and gas exploration contract negotiations.
Requirements
LLB degree. Advocate of the High Court. 3-5 years in energy, mining, or natural resources law. Knowledge of the Energy Act 2019 and Mining Act 2016.
