Energy Contracts Luật sư — PetroVietnam, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi

PetroVietnam (Vietnam Oil and Gas Group) seeks a Senior Luật sư to join its Legal Department in Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. You will draft and negotiate production sharing contracts, joint operating agreements, and EPC contracts for upstream and downstream energy projects.

PetroVietnam is Vietnam's largest state energy corporation. This role offers unique exposure to high-value energy transactions and government-to-government negotiations.

• Draft, review, and negotiate production sharing contracts and joint venture agreements for exploration blocks
• Advise on regulatory compliance with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the General Department of Energy
• Handle disputes with contractors and joint venture partners, including arbitration proceedings at VIAC
• Support environmental compliance and impact assessment processes
• Provide legal input on PetroVietnam's strategic investments in renewable energy and LNG
• Coordinate with international law firms on cross-border elements of major transactions

• 7-10 years' PQE in energy law, oil and gas, or project development
• Experience with production sharing contracts (PSCs), joint operating agreements (JOAs), and service contracts
• Knowledge of the Petroleum Law 2022 and Environmental Protection Law 2020
• Understanding of international energy arbitration (ICC, SIAC, VIAC)
