Job Description

Environmental Compliance Specialist — PetroVietnam, Da Nang

PetroVietnam is hiring an Environmental Compliance Specialist for its Central Vietnam operations based in Da Nang. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations for the Dung Quat refinery zone and offshore exploration activities in central Vietnam.

Da Nang is emerging as a key hub for PetroVietnam's central operations. This role combines environmental law expertise with hands-on involvement in major energy projects.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with environmental permits and conditions for refinery and offshore operations
Prepare and submit environmental monitoring reports to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
Coordinate environmental impact assessments for new exploration and production activities
Manage relationships with provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment
Investigate and respond to environmental incidents and regulatory inquiries
Develop and deliver environmental compliance training for operational staff

Requirements

4-6 years' experience in environmental law, compliance, or EHS
Strong knowledge of the Environmental Protection Law 2020 and Decree 08/2022/ND-CP
Experience with environmental impact assessments (EIA) and environmental monitoring reports
Understanding of marine environmental protection regulations
