Job Description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Anduril Finance team is looking for leaders to join its inaugural Emerging Leadership Rotational Program in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of how Anduril's finance team works to connect-the-dots and drive the company forward. You will gain hands-on experience across four core finance teams: Revenue Operations, Program Finance, SG&A Finance, and Corporate Finance and establish a foundational knowledge base and critical skills that will be a springboard for your career. We are looking for problem solvers with impeccable analytical abilities and a high degree of adaptability. If you are a highly motivated recent grad, who is eager to learn and make a visible impact, this program is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Rotate through four key finance teams over 12 months (~3 months each): Revenue Operations, Program Finance, SG&A Finance, and Corporate Finance. You'll build financial models, manage significant department budgets, track program performance against targets, and contribute to the monthly close and forecast processes — providing analyses that inform executive decision-making.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights through executive presentations, dashboards, and written reports. You'll present findings in regular team syncs and monthly business reviews, making recommendations that drive strategic initiatives. Develop your storytelling skills by learning to communicate the "so what" behind the numbers to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Join a cohort of high-potential early-career professionals with access to structured mentorship from finance leaders (e.g., monthly 1:1s) and dedicated and on-the-job skill-building workshops (e.g., financial modeling, data visualization, executive presence).
  • Drive measurable improvements in day-to-day operations, collaborating on cross-functional projects with Growth, Program Mgmt, Eng and Operations teams. Through this, you’ll establish a deep understanding of how finance partners across the business.
  • Successfully complete the 12-month program through demonstrated financial acumen, stakeholder collaboration, and project delivery, while receiving regular feedback. Program participants are expected to graduate into full-time roles and hit-the-ground running within Finance while providing continuity and mentorship for our next cohort of emerging leaders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

  • Recent or upcoming graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a firm grasp of fundamental corporate finance and accounting principles learned through coursework.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to collaborate and build relationships in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • Prior internship experience in a corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or financial services role.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through extracurricular activities, academic projects, or work experience.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Salesforce or other ERP/EPM software (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle).
