Job Description
The FSQA Team Lead ANZ - Fresh & Supplier/Process Management plays a crucial role in the business by ensuring that our suppliers, ingredients and where applicable operational processes meet the standards of compliance set by HelloFresh. This includes adherence to policies and alignment to the requirements of food safety, legality & quality.
They strive for sustainable continuous improvement and total end-to-end customer satisfaction, whilst collaborating with and supporting multiple internal stakeholders.
This role is based in Chippendale, NSW and reports to the Director, Food Safety & Quality Assurance ANZ.
You will…
- Lead a team of Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Category Managers.
- Lead technical guidance for new product development (NPD) projects within the fresh categories, ensuring food safety and quality risks are assessed at every stage.
- Manage supplier relationships and onboarding within the fresh categories, ensuring all new partners meet our high standards for compliance and quality.
- Oversee and conduct supplier audits and quality visits, driving continuous improvement and reducing supply-based risks.
- Provide technical expertise on ANZ food regulations, nutritional claims, and label artwork compliance.
- Lead and support the supplier management process, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and strive for continuous improvement.
- Support the team with mentorship and training, while providing technical guidance across each step of the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with international and local teams on quality and safety improvement initiatives.
- Act as a key team member in the FSQA team and cover additional topics/ team members as required by the business.
You have…
- A relevant degree in a food-related discipline.
- Quality Assurance experience within a food manufacturing or retail environment.
- Essential qualifications in HACCP and Auditing.
- Strong knowledge of GFSI standards and practical application of ANZ food regulations.
- Experience in people management.
- Advanced skills in G-suite/MS-suite, with the ability to manage and analyse data effectively.
- Experience in fresh/high risk categories such as produce, meat, ready meals/ready to eat is highly regarded.
