Job Description
Jazz, Pakistan's largest mobile network operator, is seeking a Head of Legal to lead its legal function from Islamabad. The role involves strategic legal leadership across telecom regulation, commercial contracts, M&A, data privacy, and corporate governance. Reporting to the CEO, this position requires a seasoned legal professional with corporate leadership experience.
Responsibilities
Providing strategic legal advice to the CEO and executive leadership team. Leading and developing the in-house legal team. Overseeing all regulatory affairs and PTA interactions. Managing corporate governance, board secretariat, and compliance functions. Leading M&A transactions, spectrum acquisitions, and strategic investments.
Requirements
LLB from a recognised university (international LLM preferred). Enrolled with the Pakistan Bar Council. 12+ years PQE with at least 5 years in a senior in-house legal role. Deep understanding of Pakistan telecom regulatory landscape. Experience managing legal teams and external counsel relationships. Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
