Job Description
BLOM Bank, one of Lebanon's largest banking groups founded in 1951, seeks a Senior Legal Advisor for its Corporate Banking division. This senior role involves advising on complex corporate lending, structured finance, and trade finance transactions for the bank's key corporate clients.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on corporate lending facilities, syndicated loans, and structured finance. Draft and negotiate complex credit documentation and security packages. Advise on trade finance instruments including letters of credit and documentary collections. Manage relationships with external counsel on major transactions. Ensure compliance with BDL regulations and international banking standards.
Requirements
Licence en Droit or LLM in banking or corporate law. Minimum 6 years of experience in banking law or corporate finance. Active membership in the Beirut Bar Association. Deep expertise in Lebanese commercial code, banking regulations, and trade finance instruments. Fluency in Arabic, French, and English required.
