Job Description

  • Support Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS):

    • Assist in monitoring and maintaining laboratory quality standards and compliance.
    • Help document procedures and ensure proper documentation for all laboratory activities.
    • Support in conducting internal audits and assessments for continuous improvement.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing laboratory data using Power BI.
    • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track laboratory performance and quality metrics.
    • Help identify trends and insights in data to support decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement Projects:

    • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process optimization.
    • Assist in initiating and implementing quality improvement projects.
    • Analyze current processes and propose data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work cross-functionally with laboratory staff, quality assurance teams, and engineering teams.
    • Assist in presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Help coordinate meetings and discussions regarding improvement initiatives and quality metrics.
  • Engineering Support:

    • Assist in analyzing laboratory workflows and recommend engineering-based improvements to equipment or processes.
    • Support the integration of automation and technology solutions to improve laboratory operations.

Educational Requirements:

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering).
  • Relevant coursework in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Process Improvement, Data Analytics, and Power BI is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with Power BI (creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations).
  • Familiarity with Excel for data analysis (pivot tables, data modeling).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Enthusiastic and self-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • The intern will have opportunities to interact with senior leaders and gain exposure to various aspects of laboratory operations and quality management.

Working conditions

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am. - 5.30 pm.
  • Monthly allowance and housing allowance
  • Free lunch & transportation
  • Vacation eligibility: 1 day /month
  • Required period minimum 4 months
