Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and technically curious student eager to gain practical experience in project management and efficiency optimization within a leading global technology company? We are offering an exciting student internship position within our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) division. In this role, you will play a supporting part in the implementation and application of Ratio Project Planning (RPP) methodologies, contributing to the efficient and successful execution of our innovative ADAS projects.

This internship is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world engineering environment and learn about cutting-edge project planning techniques.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • RPP Process Support: Assist the RPP team in day-to-day tasks related to project planning and control, learning how RPP concepts are applied in practice within complex ADAS projects.
  • Data Collection & Preparation: Support in gathering and preparing project-related data for RPP analyses, including cost, resource, and timeline information.
  • RPP Tool Familiarization: Gain hands-on experience with RPP-related software tools and learn to utilize features for tracking and reporting, such as the "RPP Cockpit."
  • Methodology Learning: Actively participate in discussions and workshops to understand RPP principles, including "Planning in Ratios" and "RPP Gates."
  • Documentation Assistance: Help in maintaining and updating RPP documentation, templates, and best practice guidelines.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct basic data analysis and generate reports to support project managers and RPP specialists in decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Exposure: Collaborate with various technical and project teams, gaining insights into the interdependencies of ADAS development.
  • Contribution to Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Currently enrolled as a student in a Bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field
    • Expected graduation no earlier than 2027, mid-program student and seeking practical experience
  • Technical Foundations:
    • Strong understanding of electrotechnical and information technology fundamentals.
    • Familiarity with digital systems and logic.
    • Demonstrated system-level understanding of technical systems.
  • Practical Experience:
    • Initial experience in project-oriented work, ideally through student assistant roles
    • Experience in data processing or administrative support is a plus.
  • Software & Programming Skills:
    • Basic programming skills, particularly in C++ and Python
    • Proficient in MS Excel for data handling and basic analysis.
    • Familiarity with simulation tools like LTspice is beneficial.
  • Language Skills:
    • Fluent in German (mother tongue).
    • Excellent English skills (C1 level or equivalent) for effective communication in an international environment.
    • Basic French skills (B1 level) are a welcome addition.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
    • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new methodologies and tools.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills, comfortable interacting with diverse technical teams.
    • Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and absorb complex information.
    • Genuine interest in project management, process optimization, and the automotive industry.

Start: month year / according to prior agreement
Duration: 3 - 6 months
