Join our dynamic Information Technology team as an Intern – IT Consultant in the R&D IT area. In this role, you will support digital transformation initiatives, learn how IT solutions are delivered in an innovation-driven environment, and contribute to operational excellence across our R&D applications and projects.
Your key responsibilities:
- Support IT implementation projects (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) within the R&D IT environment.
- Assist with project planning, execution, documentation, and coordination to help ensure on-time delivery.
- Contribute to identifying, tracking, and reporting project risks and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and help foster effective teamwork and communication.
- Help prepare stakeholder communication materials to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Learn and apply IT governance standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Provide support in technical consulting activities for internal business stakeholders and help evaluate suitable IT solutions.
- Assist with monitoring the operation, performance, and compliance of R&D applications to ensure availability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support application lifecycle management.
- Build strong working relationships with IT colleagues and key user groups to co-create meaningful and strategic solutions.
- You are currently studying Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field (or recently completed your degree).
- You have a strong interest in IT project management and are eager to learn how IT projects are managed in a real business environment.
- Any previous exposure to IT projects or collaboration with technical teams (e.g., through university projects, internships, hackathons, personal projects) is a plus.
- You are interested in understanding IT application operations, project delivery processes, and how enterprise applications are managed.
- Interest with R&D or Engineering applications.
- You enjoy collaborating with others and are motivated to work with cross-functional teams (business, IT, external partners).
- You have good English skills, both written and spoken.
- You communicate clearly, are open to feedback, and enjoy working with different types of stakeholders.
- You are self‑driven, curious, and solution‑oriented, with a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and ways of working.
- You are customer-focused and willing to support internal users and business partners.
- You have a genuine passion for digital innovation, technology trends, and continuous improvement.
