Job Description

Akenga Kimutai & Associates is hiring an Associate to join their commercial and IP practice. You will handle trademark registrations, commercial contract disputes, and advisory work for SMEs and agricultural businesses in the North Rift region.

Responsibilities

Handle trademark and IP registration applications at KIPI, Draft commercial agreements for SMEs and agricultural enterprises, Advise clients on brand protection and trade secrets, Assist in commercial litigation and arbitration, Conduct legal research on emerging IP issues

Requirements

LLB degree, Admitted to the Kenya Bar, 1-2 years PQE or recent KSL graduate, Interest in IP and commercial law, Good communication and research skills
