IP/Technology Associate at CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz
CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz, the Austrian member firm of CMS, is seeking an IP/Technology Associate to join our growing Technology, Media, and Communications practice in Vienna.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on technology transactions, software licensing, SaaS agreements, and IT outsourcing
- Handle intellectual property matters including trademark prosecution, patent disputes, and copyright law
- Advise on data protection compliance under GDPR and Austrian Datenschutzgesetz (DSG)
- Support digital transformation projects and e-commerce regulatory compliance
- Draft and negotiate technology-related commercial agreements
Requirements
- Austrian legal qualification (Mag. jur./LL.B.) with 3-5 years of IP/Tech law experience
- Strong knowledge of Austrian and EU intellectual property frameworks
- Experience with GDPR compliance and data protection matters
- Interest in emerging technologies and digital regulation
- Fluent in German and English
