Junior Associate – Dispute Resolution

Schellenberg Wittmer Ltd in Geneva's Rue du Rhône district is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

You will assist senior lawyers in domestic litigation before Geneva courts (Tribunal de première instance, Cour de justice) and in international arbitration proceedings. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in dispute resolution at one of Switzerland's most prestigious firms.

What You Will Do

• Draft court submissions and legal memoranda under the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO/CPC)
• Conduct legal research on Swiss contract law (OR/CO) and tort law
• Assist in preparation of arbitration memorials and document review
• Attend court hearings and arbitration sessions

• Support senior lawyers in litigation and arbitration proceedings
• Draft legal research memoranda and court filings
• Assist with document review and production
• Attend hearings and client meetings
• Contribute to firm publications and knowledge management

• Brevet d'avocat or eligibility for Geneva Bar admission
• MLaw from a Swiss university (UNIGE, UNIL preferred)
• 0-2 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong academic record
• Fluent in French and English; German is an advantage
• Interest in international arbitration and cross-border disputes
