Junior Associate – Dispute Resolution

Walder Wyss Ltd on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution practice group. The team handles complex commercial litigation before the Handelsgericht Zürich, domestic and international arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently admitted Rechtsanwalt to build a dispute resolution career at one of Switzerland's top firms, with exposure to both domestic court litigation and international arbitration.

What You Will Do

• Draft court submissions and legal memoranda under the Swiss Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO)
• Conduct legal research on Swiss contract law (OR), corporate law, and procedural matters
• Assist with document review and management in large-scale disputes
• Support the preparation of arbitration memorials (ICC, SCAI, ad hoc)
• Attend court hearings and client meetings

• Support senior lawyers in litigation and arbitration mandates
• Draft legal submissions, research memoranda, and correspondence
• Assist with document review and case management
• Attend hearings and take detailed notes
• Contribute to client alerts and knowledge management

• Swiss Anwaltspatent (recently obtained or imminent)
• MLaw from a Swiss university with strong academic results
• 0-2 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong interest in litigation and arbitration
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus
• Excellent legal writing skills in German
