About the Team
Our Paris Real Estate Finance sub-group advise the world’s leading investment banks, specialist lenders, corporates and sponsors on their most crucial, high-profile, and pioneering transactions.
The team operates within an integrated real estate finance, RMBS/CMBS, and structured debt group, providing advice on a comprehensive range of domestic and cross-border real estate finance transactions. These include senior debt, mezzanine financing, A/B structures, loan-on-loan arrangements, and other back leverage structures across various asset classes such as residential real estate, build-to-rent developments, business parks, hotels, logistics facilities, student accommodation, data centers, and offices.
What You Will Be Responsible For
As a Junior Associate within the Real Estate Finance team, you will play a key role on various deal teams. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Draft, review and negotiate legal documents (memoranda, pleadings, contracts…) clearly and concisely,
- Advise clients in meetings, on the phone and in writing
- Work with Partners and associates from different backgrounds and nationality.
- Create solutions using your legal expertise and apply effective research techniques.
- Be proactive in keeping your legal knowledge and technical skills up to date.
Your career experience so far:
We are seeking a junior lawyer (Newly qualified) with:
- Master's degree, currently pursuing the CAPA certification.
- Strong technical knowledge of the legal framework surrounding real estate finance transactions and global loans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter with the desire and ability to continuously acquire, build upon and share knowledge
- Collaborative team player with the ability to develop and work in a fast paced, intellectually rigorous environment
