Job Description
TotalEnergies is recruiting a Juriste for its International M&A and Joint Ventures team at its La Defense headquarters. You will work on major upstream and downstream transactions, joint venture negotiations, and corporate restructuring across TotalEnergies' global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft joint venture agreements, farm-in/farm-out agreements, and production sharing contracts
- Support M&A transactions involving energy assets across multiple jurisdictions
- Advise on French and international corporate law for group restructuring
- Manage relationships with external counsel in 50+ jurisdictions
- Advise on sanctions compliance and anti-corruption (Sapin II law) matters
Requirements
- Master 2 in International Business Law or LLM from a UK/US university
- 3-6 years experience in international M&A at a law firm or energy company
- Knowledge of energy industry commercial practices
- Fluent French and English required; Arabic or Portuguese a strong plus
- Willingness to travel internationally
