Legal Analyst — BPO Legal Services — Thomson Reuters Manila
Thomson Reuters Manila, based in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, is seeking a Legal Analyst to join its global legal research and content operations team. This role is ideal for law graduates and Philippine Bar passers who want to apply their legal knowledge in a technology-driven, international work environment within the Philippines' thriving BPO sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on Philippine, US, UK, and international law for Thomson Reuters' legal publications and databases
- Review, analyze, and summarize case law, legislation, and regulatory updates
- Perform document review and contract analysis for global litigation and transactional matters
- Update and maintain legal content databases with accurate, current information
- Collaborate with editorial teams across Thomson Reuters' global offices
- Apply quality assurance standards to ensure accuracy and consistency of legal content
- Assist in developing AI-assisted legal research tools and content classification systems

Requirements
- LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized Philippine law school; Philippine Bar admission is a strong advantage but not required
- 0-3 years of legal research or legal publishing experience
- Strong English writing, editing, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis) is an advantage
- Detail-oriented with the ability to process large volumes of legal information
- Familiarity with common law and civil law legal systems
- Comfortable working in a BPO/shared services environment with shifting schedules
