Job Description
NMB Bank Plc is looking for a Legal Officer to support its Retail Banking division with a focus on debt recovery and enforcement. The role involves managing non-performing loan recovery proceedings, drafting demand notices and statutory notices, coordinating with external advocates on litigation matters, and advising branch managers on legal risks in retail lending operations across NMB's nationwide branch network.

Requirements
LLB from a recognized Tanzanian university. Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. 2-5 years' experience in debt recovery, banking litigation, or in-house banking legal practice. Knowledge of the Law of Contract Act, Mortgage Financing (Special Provisions) Act, and civil procedure. Willingness to travel to regional branches.
