Legal Paralegal & Case Management Specialist — Garanti BBVA, Istanbul

Garanti BBVA is hiring a Legal Paralegal & Case Management Specialist for its Legal Department in Istanbul. This role involves managing the bank's high-volume litigation portfolio, coordinating with external counsel, and maintaining case management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage case tracking and legal document management systems for Garanti BBVA's litigation portfolio
Coordinate with the bank's external counsel panel across Turkish provinces on case status, hearing dates, and reporting
Prepare enforcement (icra) filings, court submissions, and legal correspondence
Track court hearing calendars and ensure timely filing of pleadings and appeals
Maintain legal archives and ensure compliance with document retention policies
Assist avukat team with legal research, case summaries, and hearing preparation
Generate litigation reporting and case statistics for management review

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or justice vocational school (Adalet Meslek Yuksekokulu) diploma
2-4 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or case management specialist in a law firm or corporate legal department
Strong knowledge of Turkish court systems, filing procedures, and enforcement (icra) processes
Proficiency in UYAP (National Judiciary Informatics System) and legal case management software
Fluent Turkish; English is a plus
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Experience in banking or financial services sector is preferred
