Job Description
Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess at least one of the following: A Ph. D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M., if related. At least 4 years of progressively responsible specialized experience planning and executing logistics operations, including scheduling, routing, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. A combination of education and progressively responsible specialized experience utilizing logistics software systems and tools for tracking, reporting, or analysis. A qualified candidate also possesses the following: Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management techniques, and distribution operations. Knowledge with logistics software systems and tools for tracking, reporting, and analysis. Knowledge of Navy Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentalities. Knowledge of CNIC's organizational structure, functions, and mission. Knowledge of industry-standard and organizationally accepted business and systems analysis principles and methods in logistics management customer support. Knowledge of and skill in understanding organizational business processes and operations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written) to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Skill in providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint). Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. Skill in collaborating with customers and staff to identify and solve problems. Skill in querying databases and other data sources, cleansing and normalizing data, preparing analysis, and presenting data in an effective format using available technology tools. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to work well under pressure. Ability to conduct analysis and reporting with attention to detail and accuracy.
