About the Role
Bernitsas Law is recruiting a Paralegal for our Banking & Finance practice in Athens. You will support lawyers on NPL transactions, loan agreements, and securitizations, gaining hands-on experience in one of Greece's busiest financial law practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist with document review and data room management for NPL portfolio transactions
- Prepare condition precedent checklists and closing documentation
- Conduct searches at the Enechyrofylakeio (Pledge Registry) and land registries
- Draft corporate authorizations, board minutes, and signing pages
- Support regulatory filings with the Bank of Greece and Hellenic Capital Market Commission
Requirements
- Law degree from a Greek university
- 0-2 years of experience; banking or finance exposure preferred
- Knowledge of Greek corporate and banking documentation
- Strong Excel and document management skills
- Fluent in Greek and English
