About the Role

Bernitsas Law is recruiting a Paralegal for our Banking & Finance practice in Athens. You will support lawyers on NPL transactions, loan agreements, and securitizations, gaining hands-on experience in one of Greece's busiest financial law practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with document review and data room management for NPL portfolio transactions
  • Prepare condition precedent checklists and closing documentation
  • Conduct searches at the Enechyrofylakeio (Pledge Registry) and land registries
  • Draft corporate authorizations, board minutes, and signing pages
  • Support regulatory filings with the Bank of Greece and Hellenic Capital Market Commission

Requirements

  • Law degree from a Greek university
  • 0-2 years of experience; banking or finance exposure preferred
  • Knowledge of Greek corporate and banking documentation
  • Strong Excel and document management skills
  • Fluent in Greek and English
