Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing command-wide compliance with the statutory requirements of both Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts. Providing technical advice, guidance, and assistance to subordinate commands on the proper handling of information requests and the scope of allowable exemptions. Works closely with the Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG) and other higher authorities when processing FOIA appeals. Managing the tracking and collection of assessable fees, maintaining complete case files, compiling data for and submitting the consolidated Annual FOIA Report, and developing and conducting FOIA/PA training.
