Job Description
DLA Piper's Africa practice seeks a data protection associate to advise clients on compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and cross-border data transfer regulations. High demand practice area as businesses digitize across Africa.
Responsibilities
Advise on data protection compliance programmes. Draft privacy policies and data processing agreements. Conduct data protection impact assessments. Handle data breach notification procedures and ODPC filings.
Requirements
LLB degree. Advocate of the High Court. 2-3 years experience. CIPP/E or CIPM certification is a plus. Knowledge of Kenya DPA 2019 and GDPR.
Compensation
KSh200,000 - KSh380,000/month
