Senior Legal Engineer - Product Specialists collaborate closely with Harvey’s Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to drive all facets of the post-sales strategy. They partner with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to communicate Harvey’s value through a mix of large group sessions, small workshops, and one-on-one conversations.
What You’ll DoBuild high-impact, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders — including practice leaders, deputy GCs, and managing partners — at law firms and in-house legal teams, serving as a strategic advisor on incorporating Harvey into their most critical workflows.
Design and lead sophisticated onboarding programs, trainings, and ongoing enablement at scale, including high-energy one-to-many sessions and bespoke 1:1 engagements with partners and power users, ultimately driving deep, durable adoption of Harvey's platform.
Serve as a strategic partner to Customer Success Managers and Account Executives on complex, high-value accounts, shaping account strategy, identifying expansion opportunities, and supporting renewals through demonstrated impact and strong relationships.
Anticipate and proactively address adoption obstacles by applying deep legal expertise and nuanced understanding of how lawyers work, developing and implementing tailored strategies that meet customers where they are.
Translate sophisticated legal practice needs into actionable product and model feedback, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams to influence roadmap priorities through domain-grounded insights.
Take ownership of projects that enhance team workflows — including developing reusable training content, refining demo approaches, and establishing best practices — that raise the floor for how the broader team delivers value.
Represent Harvey's capabilities in a way that builds lasting credibility with top-tier legal professionals, and begin developing recognized depth in a particular practice area or customer segment as preparation for broader area ownership.
JD or equivalent legal qualification.
At least 5 years of post-JD experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a Fortune 1000 or equivalent, with a strong depth of expertise in your given field of practice.
A proven track record of impact with strategic clients and complex customer engagements, including demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with senior stakeholders (partners, GCs, C-suite).
Outstanding communication and presentation skills across audiences — from associates to C-suite executives — with the ability to adapt style and substance to the room, whether in a structured demo or an impromptu whiteboard session.
Ability to develop tailored solutions and recommendations based on limited information, adapting approaches as customer needs evolve across complex engagements.
Deep understanding of legal workflows across multiple practice areas, with the credibility to quickly establish rapport with specialist lawyers.
Genuine curiosity about AI's potential to transform legal practice, and a track record of translating that curiosity into either customer outcomes or personal use.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration — including product feedback loops, enablement content development, or GTM strategy contributions — is a strong plus.
