Job Description

TSMC is hiring a Trade Compliance Counsel to manage export control and trade compliance matters critical to its global semiconductor operations. This role ensures TSMC's compliance with Taiwan, US, and international export control regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage TSMC's compliance with Taiwan and international export control regulations; screen customers and transactions against restricted party lists and end-use controls; advise business units on export licensing requirements for advanced semiconductor products; develop and update trade compliance policies, procedures, and training materials; coordinate with government authorities on export control inquiries and license applications.

Requirements

Taiwan bar admission or relevant legal qualification; 4-6 years of trade compliance, export control, or international trade law experience; knowledge of Taiwan Foreign Trade Act, US EAR, and Wassenaar Arrangement; experience with semiconductor or technology industry trade compliance; fluent in Mandarin and English.
