Gorrissen Federspiel on Axeltorv in central Copenhagen is recruiting advokatfuldmægtige (trainee lawyers) for its Corporate and M&A practice. In Denmark, all aspiring advokater must complete a mandatory three-year advokatfuldmægtig training period under the supervision of a principal (principal), gaining practical experience while fulfilling requirements set by the Advokatsamfundet (Danish Bar and Law Society).

As an advokatfuldmægtig at Denmark's largest independent law firm, you will work on landmark M&A transactions, IPOs on Nasdaq Copenhagen, and corporate restructurings, building the skills required for admission as advokat.

What You Will Do

• Assist advokater with M&A transactions including due diligence, SPA drafting, and closing procedures
• Research Danish corporate law issues under the Selskabsloven (Companies Act)
• Draft corporate resolutions, board minutes, and shareholders' agreements
• Assist with Nasdaq Copenhagen listing applications and prospectus preparation
• Support the team on corporate governance advisory for listed companies

Training Programme

This three-year position forms part of the mandatory advokatfuldmægtig period required for admission to the Danish Bar. You will attend the Advokatuddannelsen (mandatory bar education programme) and receive structured mentoring from experienced advokater.

• Support the corporate/M&A team on transactions and advisory matters
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda under supervision
• Attend client meetings, negotiations, and closings
• Complete the Advokatuddannelsen bar education programme
• Participate in the firm's internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Cand.jur. from the University of Copenhagen, Aarhus University, or Aalborg University
• Strong academic record with focus on corporate and commercial law
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Eligible for registration as advokatfuldmægtig with the Advokatsamfundet
• Previous clerkship (studentermedhjælp) at a law firm is an advantage
• Strong analytical, drafting, and teamwork skills
