Internship Description

Legal Intern — Corporate Practice at CCW Partnership

CCW Partnership is offering a paid 3-month legal internship in its corporate and commercial practice in Bandar Seri Begawan. This internship provides hands-on exposure to corporate transactions, oil and gas contracts, and commercial advisory work at one of Brunei's leading law firms. Ideal for final-year law students at UBD or UNISSA seeking practical experience before entering the profession.

What You Will Learn

  • Assist with company incorporations and corporate secretarial work under the Companies Act (Chapter 39)
  • Support due diligence exercises for M&A and investment transactions
  • Draft basic corporate documents including board resolutions and shareholder minutes
  • Attend client meetings and observe court proceedings at the Supreme Court of Brunei
  • Conduct legal research on Brunei corporate law and oil and gas regulations
  • Gain exposure to oil and gas contract review and negotiation processes

Duration: 3 months (paid internship — BND 800/month)

Note: This is a paid internship. Successful interns may be considered for a full-time Junior Associate position.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a law degree programme at UBD, UNISSA, or a recognised overseas university
