Plesner on Amerika Plads in Copenhagen is recruiting advokatfuldmægtige for its Employment Law practice. Danish employment law — with its unique 'flexicurity' model combining flexible labour markets with strong social protection — offers a fascinating and intellectually challenging practice area for trainee lawyers.

You will assist advokater on dismissal cases under the Funktionærloven, collective agreement disputes, discrimination matters, and cross-border employment issues during your mandatory three-year training period.

What You Will Do

• Research Danish employment law issues under the Funktionærloven, Ferieloven, and collective agreements
• Assist with dismissal cases and severance calculations
• Draft employment contracts and non-compete clauses
• Support the team on discrimination cases under the Forskelsbehandlingsloven
• Assist with collective restructuring advisory under the Masseafskedigelsesloven

• Support the employment law team on advisory and litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda
• Attend arbitration hearings and client meetings
• Complete the Advokatuddannelsen bar education programme
• Participate in firm training sessions

• Cand.jur. from a Danish university with strong academic record in employment or labour law
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Eligible for advokatfuldmægtig registration with the Advokatsamfundet
• Interest in the Danish flexicurity model and labour law
• Previous studentermedhjælp experience is an advantage
