Pradhan & Associates offers a 6-month paid internship in its Banking and Finance Law department at its New Baneshwor, Kathmandu offices. This internship provides practical exposure to banking law during Nepal's most dynamic period of financial sector consolidation, with NRB-mandated bank mergers creating unprecedented transactional activity.

Interns will gain hands-on experience with loan documentation, security creation, regulatory compliance under the Banking and Financial Institution Act 2073, and NRB directive analysis. Working under the supervision of experienced Advocates (अधिवक्ता), interns will build foundational banking law skills at a firm known for its financial sector practice, located near the Singha Durbar government complex in Kathmandu.

• Assist Advocates with loan documentation review and mortgage preparation
• Conduct title searches at the Land Revenue Office (Malpot Karyalaya) under supervision
• Research banking law issues under the Banking and Financial Institution Act 2073 and NRB directives
• Assist with security documentation including guarantees, debentures, and charges
• Observe debt recovery proceedings before the Debt Recovery Tribunal
• Maintain filing systems and assist with document management for banking transactions

• LL.B. from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, or equivalent (final year or graduate)
• Strong interest in banking and finance law
• Good academic performance in commercial law, contract law, and property law
• Basic knowledge of the Banking and Financial Institution Act 2073
• Proficiency in English and Nepali
• Commitment to the full 6-month internship period
• No prior professional legal experience required
