Internship Description
Commercial Law Intern — Bun & Associates, BKK1, Phnom Penh
Bun & Associates is offering a legal internship in its Commercial Law practice. You will support the firm's lawyers on company registration, contract drafting, and commercial due diligence matters, gaining foundational experience in Cambodian commercial law practice.
This internship is designed for motivated law students who want practical experience in one of Cambodia's leading domestic law firms, with exposure to both local and international clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers with company registration procedures at the Ministry of Commerce
- Draft basic commercial contracts and correspondence under supervision
- Conduct legal research on the Civil Code, Law on Commercial Enterprises, and related legislation
- Support due diligence processes by gathering and organising corporate documents
- Attend court hearings at the Phnom Penh Municipal Court as an observer
- Maintain and update the firm's legal precedent database
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor of Laws programme at RULE, Build Bright, or equivalent
- Good academic standing in commercial law and contract law
- Interest in corporate and commercial legal practice
- Proficient in Khmer and English
- Strong attention to detail and research skills
- Ability to commit to a minimum 3-month internship
