Corporate Law Internship — Pioneer Law Associates

Pioneer Law Associates, Nepal's leading international law firm, offers a 6-month paid internship in its Corporate and Commercial Law department at its Putalisadak, Kathmandu offices. This is Nepal's most prestigious legal internship, providing exposure to complex corporate transactions, foreign investment advisory, and hydropower project finance at a firm ranked by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

Interns will work alongside senior Advocates (अधिवक्ता) on matters governed by the Companies Act 2063 (2006), the Nepal Investment Board regulations, and the Banking and Financial Institution Act 2073. Pioneer's Putalisadak office places interns at the heart of Nepal's legal corridor, steps from the Supreme Court (Sarbochcha Adalat) and the Singha Durbar government complex.

• Assist senior Advocates with corporate advisory matters and transaction support
• Draft corporate resolutions, board minutes, and basic commercial agreements under supervision
• Conduct legal research on the Companies Act 2063 (2006), foreign investment law, and regulatory compliance
• Support due diligence for M&A and investment transactions
• Attend client meetings and participate in team case discussions
• Prepare case summaries, research memoranda, and filing documentation

• LL.B. from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, National Law College, or equivalent institution
• Completion of or eligibility for Nepal Bar Association (NBA) licensing examination
• Strong academic record in corporate law, commercial law, and contract law
• Proficiency in English and Nepali
• Commitment to the full 6-month internship duration
• Interest in corporate and transactional legal practice
• No prior professional legal experience required
