Estagiário — Departamento de Direito do Trabalho (Estágio 18 meses)

Abreu Advogados is offering an 18-month Estágio position in its Departamento de Direito do Trabalho at the firm's Porto office on Rua de S. João de Brito in Foz do Douro. Graduates registered for the Estágio da Ordem dos Advogados will gain practical experience in Portuguese employment law — restructurings, individual and collective disputes, and HR advisory — supporting Porto's growing tech and industrial sectors.

What You Will Do

• Research employment law issues under the Código do Trabalho and related legislation
• Assist with drafting employment contracts, non-compete clauses, and termination documentation
• Support M&A teams on labour due diligence (transmissão de empresa under Article 285.º CT)
• Attend hearings at the Tribunal do Trabalho do Porto and ACT inspections
• Help prepare client training sessions on employment law updates and teletrabalho regulations

Elegibilidade

• Licenciatura or Mestrado em Direito from a recognised Portuguese university (Universidade do Porto, Católica Porto, or equivalent)
• Registered for the Estágio da Ordem dos Advogados
• Interest in employment and labour law
• Good English (B2+); Duration: 18 months, full-time
