Internship Description
Paid Internship — OQ SAOC is offering a 3-month In-House Legal Internship at its Muscat Hills headquarters. Interns work within the General Counsel's office, gaining exposure to energy contracts, procurement, and the legal operations of Oman's integrated energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing procurement contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
- Support the team on joint venture documentation and partner correspondence
- Research Omani hydrocarbons legislation and environmental regulations
- Help maintain the contract management system and legal precedent database
- Attend internal governance meetings and legal department briefings
Eligibility
- Final year LLB student or recent LLB graduate from a recognised university
- Interest in energy law, corporate law, or contracts management
- Fluent English; Arabic an advantage
- Duration: 3 months, rolling applications (Omanisation programme priority)
- Stipend: 250-350 OMR per month
Responsibilities
Review procurement contracts. Support JV documentation. Research hydrocarbons legislation. Maintain contract database. Attend governance meetings.
Requirements
Final year LLB student or recent graduate. Interest in energy or corporate law. Fluent English.
