Internship Description

Lee and Li is seeking an IP Law Research Intern to support its intellectual property practice group. This internship provides exposure to patent prosecution, trademark matters, and IP litigation in Taiwan's technology-driven legal market.

Responsibilities

Research IP law issues including patent validity, trademark registrability, and trade secret protection; assist with preparing patent application summaries and prior art analysis; support trademark prosecution by reviewing search results and preparing filing documents; observe IP and Commercial Court hearings; draft short research memos on IP law developments.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in law or engineering program; interest in intellectual property law; basic knowledge of Taiwan patent and trademark systems; research and analytical skills; bilingual in Mandarin and English; technical background in STEM preferred.
