Legal Intern - Employment & Labour Law

Cobalt Lithuania is offering a legal internship in our Employment & Labour Law practice in Kaunas. You will gain practical experience advising on Lithuanian employment regulations, employee relations, and workplace compliance at a premier Baltic law firm.

Lithuania's growing economy and increasing foreign investment create dynamic employment law challenges. The internship provides hands-on experience with the Darbo kodeksas (Labour Code) and EU employment directives, including the Platform Workers Directive.

Assist lawyers with drafting employment contracts, internal regulations, and workplace policies. Conduct legal research on Lithuanian Darbo kodeksas provisions and EU employment directives. Help prepare documentation for Darbo gincu komisija (Labour Dispute Commission) proceedings. Support due diligence on employment matters in corporate transactions. Attend training sessions on Lithuanian and EU employment law developments.

Currently enrolled in a law degree program or recent graduate from a recognized Lithuanian university. Interest in employment law, labour relations, or HR-related legal matters. Basic knowledge of the Darbo kodeksas. Strong research, writing, and organizational skills. Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
