Legal Internship – Regional Banking Operations

VÚB banka offers a legal internship at its Regional Banking Operations office in Košice, the second-largest city in Slovakia. Interns will gain practical experience in banking law, debt recovery, and commercial lending documentation within Intesa Sanpaolo Group's Slovak subsidiary.

Košice is VÚB's primary legal hub for eastern Slovakia. This internship provides exposure to corporate and retail banking legal work, including loan documentation, security interests, and court filing procedures, with mentoring from experienced banking lawyers.

Assist legal counsel with corporate loan documentation review and preparation. Support Kataster nehnuteľností filings for mortgage security interests. Help with debt recovery case administration and court filing management. Research Slovak banking regulations and NBS supervisory guidance. Attend court hearings as an observer alongside legal counsel. Support document management and case tracking for the Košice legal team.

Currently enrolled at a Slovak law faculty or economics faculty with legal focus. Interest in banking law, commercial law, or civil procedure. Basic knowledge of the Obchodný zákonník preferred. Slovak and English fluency. Available for minimum 3 months.
