Litigation Internship — Villaraza & Angangco
Villaraza & Angangco (V&A Law), recognized as one of the Philippines' top litigation firms, offers a litigation internship program for law students passionate about dispute resolution and courtroom advocacy. Interns will gain practical experience in one of the country's most active litigation practices.
Internship Details
- Duration: 2-3 months
- Compensation: Paid internship with monthly stipend
- Schedule: Full-time; may include court appearance attendance
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda for cases before the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and Regional Trial Courts
- Conduct legal research on Philippine jurisprudence, constitutional law, and procedural rules
- Observe court hearings, oral arguments, and mediation proceedings
- Help prepare trial materials, exhibits, and witness summaries
- Assist in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings and arbitration case preparation
- Attend firm seminars and case study discussions led by senior partners

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a J.D. or LL.B. program at a recognized Philippine law school (3rd or 4th year preferred)
- Strong interest in litigation, constitutional law, or dispute resolution
- Excellent legal writing and oral communication skills in English and Filipino
- Moot court experience or legal aid clinic participation is highly valued
- Must be able to commit to at least 2 months full-time
- Strong academic standing
