Stage — Contract Law & International Trade | OCP Group, Casablanca

OCP Group, the world's largest phosphate producer headquartered in Casablanca, offers a 6-month paid Stage within its Legal Department's Contracts and International Trade division. This Stage provides hands-on experience with international commodity contracts, supply chain agreements, and cross-border trade documentation at one of Africa's most important companies.

What You'll Learn

You will assist with drafting and reviewing international sales contracts, off-take agreements, shipping documentation (bills of lading, letters of credit), and distribution agreements spanning over 160 countries. You will gain practical knowledge of Incoterms, UCP 600, and international trade finance instruments — skills highly valued in the Moroccan and international legal market.

Stage Details

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Type: Paid Stage with monthly stipend of 4,000 MAD
  • Location: OCP Headquarters, Hay Hassani, Casablanca
  • Eligibility: Master 1 or Master 2 students in International Business Law or Trade Law

Responsibilities

  • Assist with drafting and reviewing international commercial contracts
  • Support trade finance documentation review: letters of credit, bank guarantees
  • Research international trade law questions and prepare memoranda
  • Help maintain contract databases and track renewal deadlines
  • Assist with supplier and distributor agreement negotiations
  • Participate in OCP Legal Department training and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

  • Master 1 or Master 2 student in International Business Law, Trade Law, or Commercial Law
  • Strong academic record from a Moroccan or international university
  • Interest in international trade, commodity markets, and contract law
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international sales conventions (CISG) is an advantage
  • Excellent French and English required; Arabic an advantage
