Internship Description
Summer Associate Program — Lee & Ko
Lee & Ko invites applications for its Summer Associate Program at the Hanjin Building, Jung-gu, Seoul. Lee & Ko's international orientation makes its summer program particularly attractive for students interested in cross-border practice, with rotations available through the firm's Pangyo (tech hub) office and exposure to the firm's extensive Asia-Pacific network.
Program Details
- Duration: 6-8 weeks (June – August)
- Compensation: Paid — competitive monthly stipend
- Eligibility: 2nd or 3rd year 법학전문대학원 students
What You Will Do
- Work on live matters across Corporate/M&A, International Arbitration, Competition, and Technology practice groups
- Rotate through Lee & Ko's Seoul (Jung-gu) and Pangyo (Techone Tower) offices
- Draft legal research memoranda on Korean law and comparative law issues
- Attend client meetings, arbitral hearings at KCAB, and court proceedings
- Participate in Lee & Ko's mentorship programme and professional skills workshops
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of an accredited Korean 법학전문대학원
- Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in legal practice
- English proficiency (Lee & Ko places strong emphasis on international practice skills)
- Moot court, law journal, or externship experience is preferred
