Summer Intern – Capital Markets
Clifford Chance Singapore is offering a 4-week summer internship in its Capital Markets practice at Marina Bay Financial Centre. This programme provides law students with exposure to international capital markets transactions, including IPOs, bond offerings, and structured finance, within a Magic Circle law firm environment.
Programme Highlights
- Assist associates with drafting prospectus sections, offering circulars, and disclosure documents for equity and debt offerings
- Conduct research on SFA requirements, SGX listing rules, and MAS regulatory guidelines
- Participate in deal team meetings and observe the execution process for live capital markets transactions
- Attend Clifford Chance's Asia-Pacific intern programme, including cross-office virtual sessions
- Receive mentoring from partners and associates with regular feedback sessions
Requirements
- Penultimate or final-year law student at NUS, SMU, SUSS, or a top-tier overseas law school
- Strong academic record with interest in capital markets, corporate finance, or securities regulation
- Excellent English language skills and analytical ability
- Commercial awareness and interest in international legal practice
- Available for a 4-week commitment during the summer vacation period
This is a paid internship. A weekly allowance is provided for the duration of the programme.
