Banco Pichincha, Ecuador's largest private bank, seeks a Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer for its Legal Department at the Quito headquarters. The bank is regulated by the Superintendencia de Bancos del Ecuador under the Código Orgánico Monetario y Financiero.

The role involves advising on lending transactions, structured finance, regulatory compliance, and banking litigation. Banco Pichincha's legal team supports operations across Ecuador and international subsidiaries in Colombia and other markets.

• Advising on loan documentation, security packages, and structured finance transactions
• Ensuring compliance with Superintendencia de Bancos prudential regulations and reporting requirements
• Managing banking litigation and recovery proceedings before Jueces de lo Civil
• Advising on AML/KYC compliance under UAFE (Unidad de Análisis Financiero y Económico) regulations
• Coordinating with international subsidiaries on cross-border banking regulatory matters

• Título de Abogado from a recognised Ecuadorian university
• 7-10 years of experience in banking, finance, or financial regulation
• Expert knowledge of the Código Orgánico Monetario y Financiero and Superintendencia de Bancos regulations
• Experience with syndicated lending, project finance, or securitisation
• Understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) requirements under UAFE regulations
• Fluent English for cross-border banking matters
