Paralegal — Recuperación de Cartera y Cobranzas

Banco Pichincha seeks a Paralegal for its Credit Recovery & Collections Department at the Cuenca branch. The role supports the legal team in managing non-performing loan recovery, judicial collection proceedings, and out-of-court settlement negotiations.

Cuenca, Ecuador's third-largest city and capital of Azuay province, is a key market for Banco Pichincha's retail and SME banking operations. The paralegal will handle a high-volume caseload of collection matters before Cuenca's civil courts.

• Processing judicial and extrajudicial collection proceedings for non-performing loans
• Preparing demand letters, petitions, and court filings for juicio ejecutivo proceedings
• Tracking case progress and court deadlines across a portfolio of recovery matters
• Coordinating with external law firms on outsourced collection cases
• Maintaining accurate records in the bank's legal case management system

• Título de Abogado or final-year law student from a recognised Ecuadorian university
• 1-2 years of experience in collections, credit recovery, or civil litigation (preferred)
• Knowledge of the Código de Procedimiento Civil and executive proceedings (juicio ejecutivo)
• Familiarity with Banco Pichincha's credit products and lending documentation
• Strong organisational skills for managing multiple case files
• Based in Cuenca or willing to relocate
