Associate — Corporate & M&A

Zu'bi & Partners is seeking an Associate for its Corporate and M&A practice in the Diplomatic Area, Manama. You will work on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings involving Bahraini and GCC entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and joint venture documentation
• Advise on compliance with the Bahrain Commercial Companies Law (Law No. 21 of 2001)
• Coordinate regulatory filings with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC)
• Conduct corporate due diligence on Bahraini companies
• Assist with company formations, including WLL, BSC, and branch registrations

• Support senior partners on deal execution
• Draft corporate governance documents and board resolutions
• Manage MOIC filings and company secretarial matters
• Review commercial contracts for Bahraini corporate clients

• LLB from a recognised university; LLM in Corporate Law or Commercial Law preferred
• Licensed by the Bahrain Bar Society
• 3-5 years post-qualification experience in corporate and M&A transactions
• Bilingual in Arabic and English
• Experience with GCC cross-border transactions an advantage
